Recipe Scaler

Paste your ingredients, pick a scale, and get scaled amounts plus grams.

Understands “2 1/4 cups flour”, “1½ tsp”, “3 tbsp”, “1 stick butter”, “8 oz”, “2 large eggs” and ranges like “2–3 tbsp”.

How it works

Each line's quantity is multiplied by your scale and rounded to a kitchen-friendly fraction; small amounts switch to tablespoons or teaspoons. Lines whose ingredient is in our weight table are converted to grams using the King Arthur Baking ingredient weight chart. Lines we can't match (or can't convert, like “2 bananas”) are still scaled but flagged ⚠ — weigh or measure those yourself.

Eggs don't scale neatly: for a fraction of an egg, beat it and weigh (a large egg is about 50 g).
