Baking Weights (https://bakingweights.com) is a static website. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information through forms.

AI recipe tool

When you use the “Create this recipe with AI” tool, the dish name you type is logged anonymously (without any account or identity) so we can see which recipes people want. For rate limiting, a hashed (not raw) version of your IP address is kept for about 1 hour, then discarded.

Information collected

Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and performance. We do not currently use cookies or analytics; if that changes, this policy will be updated.

Affiliate links

Some pages may contain affiliate links (for example, to kitchen scales). If you click one, the retailer may use cookies to attribute a purchase, under their own privacy policy. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Third-party sites

We link to sources such as King Arthur Baking. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
